1. Who we are

2. What we collect and why

We do not collect payment card data. Booking and payment are handled by cal.com and Stripe — their privacy policies apply.
3. Express consent (CASL)
We operate under Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). When you register for the Friday Workshop, you provide express consent by checking the consent box on the registration form. The consent record includes:
- Your name and email address
- Date and time of registration
- The URL where consent was given
- The consent statement displayed at time of submission
You may withdraw consent at any time by replying "unsubscribe" to any email, or by emailing manoj@aiavengers.io.
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the tools needed to operate:
- Resend (resend.com) — email delivery. Your email address is stored in a Resend audience list.
- Google Cloud Run — website hosting. Request logs may include IP addresses and are retained for 30 days.
- Sanity (sanity.io) — CMS for blog content. No personal data stored.
All processors are contractually bound to process data only as instructed and maintain appropriate security measures.
5. Data retention
Contact records are retained for as long as you remain subscribed. On unsubscribe, your record is marked unsubscribed in Resend within 5 business days. You may request full deletion at any time (see Section 7).
6. Cookies and tracking
This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. We use no Google Analytics or Meta Pixel. Server-side request logs are the only analytics data collected.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Deletion — ask us to delete your personal data
- Withdrawal of consent — stop receiving emails at any time
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format (GDPR)
- Complaint — lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC) or your local data protection authority

8. Security
We use HTTPS across all pages. API keys and credentials are stored in Google Cloud Secret Manager — never in code or environment files. Email delivery is handled via Resend's encrypted infrastructure.
9. Changes to this policy
Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after a material change constitutes acceptance.
