See what's inside the Lab

In March 2024, I posted on LinkedIn every day for 30 days. Not because I had 30 free hours to write. Because I recorded one 45-minute YouTube video and spent 3 hours running it through an AI content system.

The output from that one session: 30 LinkedIn posts, 8 email drafts, 12 Skool community posts, and 6 short video scripts. My entire content calendar for the month, built before the month started.

The result: 3.2x growth in LinkedIn followers that month. Three inbound inquiries that converted to clients. Zero weeks where I struggled to find something to post.

Why Most Business Owners Post Inconsistently

The problem is not lack of ideas. Most experienced business owners have more ideas than they can express. The problem is that writing each piece of content from scratch is labor-intensive. You sit down to write a LinkedIn post and 45 minutes later you have either nothing or something mediocre.

Content creation has friction. AI eliminates most of that friction by handling the extraction and formatting work. Your job becomes: speak about what you know. AI's job becomes: turn that into 20+ pieces of structured content for different platforms.

The system works because the hardest part - the ideas, the expertise, the perspective - comes from you. AI is not generating original thought. It is packaging thought you already have into formats each platform rewards.

The System: One Input, 20+ Outputs

The input is one long-form piece. This can be a YouTube video (30-60 min), a podcast episode, a long-form article you wrote, or even a 45-minute Zoom call you recorded. The longer and more substantive the input, the more output you can extract.

Step 1 is transcription. Use Otter.ai, Riverside, or Rev.com to turn your recording into a clean transcript. Cost: $0-15 depending on tool and length. Time: automatic, usually 5-15 minutes.

Step 2 is idea extraction. Paste the full transcript into Claude with this prompt: 'You are a content strategist. From this transcript, extract 25 distinct content ideas. For each idea, include: the core insight, the target audience pain point it addresses, and the ideal format (LinkedIn post, email, short video, long article). Keep each idea to 2-3 sentences.' Claude will return 25 usable ideas in 60 seconds.

Step 3 is platform-specific formatting. Take your 25 ideas and run batches through format-specific prompts. For LinkedIn: 'Write a LinkedIn post about [idea]. Hook in first line. No more than 150 words. No em dashes. End with a question to drive comments.' For email: 'Write an email about [idea]. Subject line 8 words or less. Conversational tone. 250-350 words. CTA at the end.' Run 5 posts at once, review, adjust, approve.

Step 4 is scheduling. Load your approved posts into Buffer, Hootsuite, or LinkedIn's native scheduler. Set them to publish at your optimal times (for B2B: Tuesday-Thursday, 8-10am or 12-2pm). Your 30-day calendar is now loaded and automated.

The Output Breakdown by Platform

From one 45-minute recording, here is what the system produces:

LinkedIn: 5 short-form posts (under 150 words, daily engagement drivers), 3 long-form posts (500-800 words, thought leadership, once per week), 2 carousel outlines (key frameworks from the recording turned into slides).

Email: 5 broadcast emails (one per week for a month), each 250-400 words, tied to the same theme as your content that week. This creates coherence - your email audience and LinkedIn audience are hearing consistent ideas from different angles.

Community (Skool/Slack): 5 discussion starter posts. These are questions or provocations based on your recording's insights. 'What would you add to this?' or 'Has anyone tried this approach?' They drive engagement without requiring you to create net-new content.

Video scripts: 5 short-form scripts (60-90 seconds each) for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, or TikTok. Each one pulls one specific insight from the recording and packages it as a standalone piece. These can be recorded in a single 30-minute batch session.

The Claude Prompt That Makes This Work

The prompt that extracts the most usable content starts with context about you: 'You are writing content for [your name], a [your role] who helps [your ICP] with [your specific solution]. Voice: direct, numbers over adjectives, short paragraphs. No em dashes. No fluff.'

Then you give it the transcript and specific instructions for the output format. The more specific you are about voice, audience, and format, the less editing you need to do on the output. Most well-prompted LinkedIn posts need 2-3 minutes of editing before they are ready to publish.

Build a master prompt doc with your voice guidelines and reuse it every session. After 2-3 sessions, Claude's outputs for your content will be consistently close to publish-ready.

The 3-Hour Session Breakdown

Hour 1: Record the source material (45-60 min video or podcast). Upload to transcription tool. While transcription runs, review your previous month's top-performing content to understand what resonated.

Hour 2: Run idea extraction with Claude. Generate all 20+ pieces across platforms. Review for accuracy and voice. Flag any that need significant editing.

Hour 3: Edit the 20% that need work. Load everything into Buffer or LinkedIn scheduler. Set dates and times. Done. Your next 30 days of content is scheduled.

What This System Changed for Me

Before this system, I posted 3-4 times per month on LinkedIn. Most posts were written in 30 minutes out of desperation when I felt I needed to show up. The quality was inconsistent. The topics were random.

After: I post daily. Every post connects to a theme for that month. My email and LinkedIn content reinforce each other. Subscribers see the same ideas from multiple angles, which builds trust faster than random posts.

LinkedIn follower growth: 400% faster in months where I used this system vs months where I did not. Inbound inquiries correlate directly with posting frequency - more posts means more surface area for discovery.

Build Your System This Month

Start with one recording. Even 20 minutes of you talking through your expertise on a specific topic gives Claude enough to work with. Do not wait until you have a perfect recording setup. The ideas matter more than the production quality.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be good at public speaking to record the source material?

No. The transcript does not need to be polished. You are extracting ideas, not publishing the recording. Talk naturally about what you know. Claude will structure it into clean, publishable content. Many people find it easier to speak their expertise than write it.

How do I make sure the content sounds like me and not like AI?

The key is a detailed voice prompt. Before generating content, tell Claude your specific voice rules: what words you never use, your sentence length preference, your opinion on the topic, phrases you do use. The more specific the voice brief, the less the output reads like generic AI content.

What if I do not have a YouTube channel or podcast to record?

You can record a voice memo on your phone and use a transcription tool on it. Or write a 1,000-word brain dump on a topic you know well and use that as the source material. The system works with any long-form input - video is just the most efficient because you can speak faster than you can type.

How often should I run this content session?

Once per month is sufficient for most business owners who want daily or near-daily content. Some members run it every 2 weeks if they want more variety or are in faster-moving topics. Once per month with one 45-minute recording produces more content than most people can consistently post.
